It’s really not accurate to say “both sides do it”
when in fact both sides don’t do it.
Abortion is settled law as long as Roe v Wade is in place.
Only Republicans and outliers make an issue of abortion.
The majority of Americans are pro-choice.
Gay marriage is not an issue for most Americans.
Republicans and outliers are waging a rear-guard action,
that is all that keeps the issue alive.
To suggest that Democrats have not addressed these issues is wrong.
